Short story long, what do I have to do to get Hydrogen, Lmms, & Audasity up and running on this system? I always figured I could just download and install those, as they are after all Linux apps. I can't seem to figure out the right hydrogen, and LMMS to download, because my brother said something about 'dependencies', knowing what they were, and downloading them.

First, I finally got easytether to install (doesn't work, but I installed it ) I have LMMS, Hydrogen, and Audasity on my Windows 7 laptop, and rosegarden, jack, ect on my live cd's. I was told over the Linux musician forum that Lubuntu was a good lightweight os for music production.
